out of all of them if i had to pick it would be this, i guess i kinda find it acceptable because its insulting people and i guess thats the most intrestin thing on the videos. Red and blue as the red coats and blue coats of the english and british had in the war fighing over something pointless. the underlieing thing about the insulting of posers i liked and going to prison or death. it has lots of doodle because it seems to put images into my head. well anymore now would just be rabble bored now
I felt that this poem was my favourite over all of them, because it brings up a good point. There are people out there who believe that being a ‘gangster’, committing crimes etc. will make them cool and get them money, when all it really does is give them time in prison or cause their time to run out completely. I think the message of the poem is to make people think about why so many are willing to die just to look a certain way or to ‘fit in’. I feel this is poetry since it’s a person’s P.O.V that they are trying to share with others. By using the words red and blue, it incorporates imagery, which I feel also is a factor that makes this a poem.
What i think of the poem is, its about bloods and crips and how they constantly fight for streets and their drug wars and they all just end up in prison or under ground with tomb stones due to gang violence. What I think of the poet is that he has ether faced racisism or has had a friend who was killed in gang violence so he shares his feelings through this poem.2- My thoughts and feelings towards this poem and connections would be... My feelings towards this is why would you do this anyway like why not try and find a real job instead of selling drugs and thoughts are abit the same. My connections would be that i've lost family due to these types of things or have faced violence.3-What I think the message is of this poem would be well he is obviosly speeking about gangs and violence and crack the drugs they sell. So I think the message would be not to sell drugs and not to cause violence on the streets, stay in school so you dont end up like bloods or crips so you dont go to prison or six feet under.
